Opening This Weekend At Your House, “The High Note”

With movie theaters across the country still dark, I do like that first run films became available right away in our homes back in March. At first the $20 price tag just for a rental seemed steep and then I remembered that when you go to the theater to see a movie, you're simply renting it for a night and dropping way more than $20! My wife has been anxious to see "The High Note" which looks like a "feel good" flick, so tonight, we'll be renting "The High Note" and having a sort of date night, because what else would we do? We're not quite yet comfortable being part of a 50% restaurant occupancy as much as we'd like to. This is not a pitch for this movie, but the trailer looks like a good date flick so we're going for it! I'll post a review after I've seen it. A recent survey showed that almost 70% of Americans now prefer a stay at home for an opening night movie over dragging themselves to dinner and a movie which can put your night easily at $150 and then there's paying the babysitter. What will the "new normal" be for movies when this pandemic has subsided?
