New Site Lets You Look Out Other People’s Window
A new site is letting people online take an inside look out other people’s windows. No…not peeping IN, but looking OUT. The site Window Swap lets you look out other people’s windows around the world.
The site’s founders said their “quarantine project” was designed so they could combat the home bound blues. So what do you see? Visitors are randomly shown views from different locales filmed from users who submit footage from inside their home. Submissions are to include a ten-minute-long, horizontally shot clip from a person’s windowsill.
A garden in India, the skyline of New York, and a construction site are the various things I saw when I went on the site earlier. It’s like traveling without leaving your home. The views are brief so you don’t get bored. It’s a bit addictive. You want to click and click to see what locale comes up.
Go to Window-Swap.com and click “open a new window somewhere in the world” and you’ll see a view randomly from somewhere in the world. It’s so cool! If you aren’t happy with the view, just click again. Definitely an awesome way to pass the time and see some interesting places.
