Papa John’s Is Hiring Over 10,000 Workers
If you’re looking for a job, or a second job, or if you know someone that’s looking, Papa John’s is hiring 10,000 workers. They need to meet the surging demand during the coronavirus pandemic.
The announcement came yesterday after the company also added about 20,000 jobs recently. In the three months prior to June 28th, North American same-store pizza sales jumped 28% as shelter-in-place orders were in effect. Shares of the company have risen by nearly 50% so far this year.
Papa John’s also said it is expanding its college tuition program. Employees and their immediate family members can get reduced tuition. That is an awesome program! Very cool!
Numerous pizza chains have seen an increase in demand the last few months as people stay at home more often. Reportedly, Pizza Hut and Domino’s are also looking to hire thousands of workers.
