Well this is something you don't see everyday! If anyone is planning on buying a home that can also be used as a jail, there's a house in Missouri that is perfect!

The two-bedroom, two-bath home in Fayette, Missouri is currently for sale. The listing says it has a fully functional jail in the basement, and there are pictures to prove it. The home is "2465 sq ft with three levels of living area, 2 bedrooms. 1.5 bath, high-end finish throughout, appears to have been totally rewired, replumbed and new HVAC zoned system installed."

The listing for the home is at $350,000. It's not clear what law enforcement agency might have used the jail.  The basement jail has a full booking room, nine cells, and steel bunk beds. It is a trip!

My guess is that the home was once a court house with a jail in the basement. To me that would make sense. When you look at the pictures, you'll be surprised. There's a steel door off the kitchen that leads into the basement. Once there, you'll see the complete jail, cells and all. It looks like it's been taken care of too! I wonder if there's a way you could turn it into a game room or a bar. If I were the new owner, I'd want to try and maintain the integrity of the house.

The pictures are awesome!  Without question this home is one of a kind.
