As the cast of This is Us gears up to shoot the upcoming season, Series creator Dan Fogelman gives fans some insight on what to expect. Although he admitted that he was being vague, he did say on social media that the new season will tackle the coronavirus pandemic. “We’ve decided to attack things head on. Very proud of @ThisIsUsWriters,” he states.

He does explain, though, that covering the pandemic will not alter how the show ends or the route they will take to get there. Sadly, he still has no word on when production will continue on the hit show, or when new episodes will air.
