Ways To Celebrate International Bacon Day Saturday
International Bacon Day is Saturday, September 5, so let’s celebrate! There are lots of places in the Charlotte area that can feed need for bacon. The Charlotte Observer has the details on 13 spots in our area.
Snooze, an A.M. Eatery is “bacon a difference.” They’re giving back to No Kid Hungry which helps to end childhood hunger, and you can help by eating bacon. Tomorrow from 6:30 a.m -2:30 p.m. you can enjoy a special menu with the “Bacon It Easy” cocktail, prepared with bacon-infused vodka, bacon crumble, Snooze sriracha and house Bloody Mary mix. Cheers! They also have tasty sandwiches and pancakes with bacon, so you have options.
At BW Sweets Bakery you can get the Maple Bacon Doughnut and the Maple Bacon Cupcake and both look amazing! You’ll find a Maple Applewood Smoked Bacon Donut at Sugar Donuts. This doughnut is covered with a handmade maple glaze, then topped with applewood smoked bacon. Duck Donuts also offers a maple bacon doughnut. And since its menu also has build-your-own options, you can add bacon to any doughnut of your choosing. Nice!
