You Can Attend a Behind-The-Scenes Chicken Tour in NC Free This Weekend
Bak Bak free chick tour anyone? If you are trying to make some unique plans this weekend, I have a good one for you.
Hodges Family Farm located at 3900 Rocky River Road, is one of my favorite places to pumpkin pick during the Fall. Sadly, this year due to COVID-19 they will not be hosting a pumpkin patch this year, BUT they are offering a very cool (and FREE) behind-the-scenes chicken and turkey tour on Saturday, September 12th, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
I definitely am sad there won’t be a pumpkin patch, but this year as we all know is the year of cancelations. With the tour, you can see the farms free-range chickens and even be able to see their Christmas turkeys.
You’ll get to see the free-range chicken and turkey coops and ask questions. You’ll get a chance to see the different breeds of chickens and get a look at the Christmas turkeys. Hodges Family Farm is only taking 49 people for the tour and if you’re interested, just email [email protected], with the subject “Chicken Tour,” by Friday, September 11th, at 7 p.m. You can see more on this experience and Hodges Family Farm HERE!
