The Brooklyn Hot Dog Company is adding a lot more than mustard and relish to the all-American wiener. According to Food & Wine, the company is shaking up the sausage-sphere with hot dogs that come in different flavors, including gyro, pepperoni, and Buffalo chicken.
The folks at the Brooklyn Hot Dog Company say they’re committed to grass-fed, nitrate-free, uncured beef. All of that quality comes at a price, though. Their regular hot dogs are $9.99 for a pack of six. A three-pack of the gyro dogs, six dogs per pack, is $39.
With flavors like gyro and Buffalo chicken, the Brooklyn Hot Dog Company is rekindling the debate over whether or not a hot dog is a sandwich. It sounds like the answer is yes.
