Video Of Rowdy Raccoons At The White House
It’s apparent in this video that raccoons don’t care if you’re a democrat or republican….they’ll come at you either way! A video has gone viral of raccoons attacking reporters at The White House. And this isn’t the first time!
CNN’s Joe Johns went viral on Tuesday night after a confrontation with a raccoon on the White House lawn. The network’s senior Washington correspondent can be seen in the video throwing what appeared to be a wooden bench at the animal while attempting to shoo it away. The raccoon was not injured, nor was the reporter.
This was the second time Johns dealt with the raccoons. The first encounter occurred when Johns was about to go live and felt a tug on his pants leg. He thought other reporters were trying to play a prank on him, but it was a raccoon.
Tuesday evening wasn’t the first time reporters have encountered raccoons on White House property. CBS News White House correspondent Paula Reid reported that a raccoon “attacked multiple news crews” on Sept. 29. No injuries have been reported. It just appears that the lil bandits are curious.
Folks online are loving how Johns handled the critters. The video is too funny! And again, no raccoons were injured. I’m guessing the reporters are holding some snacks in their bags and the raccoons just wanna taste! LOL!
