You Can Rent A Charlotte-Area Movie Theater For Yourself And 19 Friends
Birthday parties at movie theaters were always my favorite when I was a kid. Truth be told, I’d still like to have a birthday party at the movies. If you never had one when you were a kid, here’s your chance.
CNN reports that the AMC movie theater chain is now letting people reserve an entire screening for up to 20 guests. Movies currently available for private screenings include new releases such as The War With Grandpa, Tenet, and The New Mutants, as well as some seasonal classics like Hocus Pocus and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Movie theaters have been struggling mightily since the start of the pandemic, so it’s good to see AMC come up with a creative way to stay afloat. Theater rentals are available at the following Charlotte-area locations:
- Carolina Pavilion 22
- Northlake Mall 14
- Park Terrace 6
- Concord Mills 24
Rates start at just $99 but could go up to $349, depending on the film, the theater’s location, and concessions. For an extra $100, you can even rent a microphone to use when welcoming your guests. You can get more info HERE about booking an AMC theater for a private screening.
