The stuffing I make yearly is a recipe that my best friend's dad made every year. It is so good! It's easy to make and I love it. Heck, I even love it cold! It's Pepperidge Farm Herb Stuffing mixed with Jimmy Dean's Sage Sausage, onion, mushrooms, and celery. I use low sodium chicken broth to wet the mix and then put it into a Pyrex dish. Before I put it into the oven, I put very small pats of butter on top of the stuffing. I cover with aluminum foil and cook for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. I then remove the foil and cook an additional 15 minutes. YUM!
Since stuffing is so important for Thanksgiving, you may want to "practice" now with some of these recipes. The Potato Stuffing Balls sounds amazing! It includes mashed potatoes, stuffing, pancetta, olive oil and salt and pepper. All of that combined has gotta be tasty!
The Classic Herb stuffing is a keeper always. It's basic but always a solid choice at Thanksgiving. And I gotta say that the Crusty Bread, Bacon, and Pineapple Stuffing has me interested. A sweet and tart stuffing...I'd try it!
All of the stuffing recipes can be found here. If you have one that you make yearly, feel free to share the recipe. You can never have enough stuffing!
