There are two types of church goers in the world: those who don't want children in worship services and those who wish there were more kids in the pews. I fall into the latter group. You can always count on a rambunctious toddler to liven up a Sunday.

I'll never forget the time my youngest son got his first big laugh in church. He was about two years old. Toward the end of the service, when everyone was reciting the Apostle's Creed, Nicholas stood up on the pew and loudly asked "WHERE'S JESUS?" The congregation struggled to get through the rest of the reading while trying to stifle their giggles. Truth be told, that's not a bad question to ask in church. In fact, I suspect a lot of people who go to church are seeking that very answer.

I have to hand it to members of the clergy who are able to roll with the punches when a child does something to interrupt the flow of their service. Take, for example, the Catholic priest in the video below. He wasn't expecting a high five from the girl he was blessing, but he got one anyway and still made it through. But not without a few giggles of his own.
