Company Seeks Virtual Santas To Chat With Kids This Holiday Season
Tis the season for holiday side hustles and, yes, there’s money to be made even during the pandemic. Travel + Leisure reports that a Canadian company will pay you to be a virtual Santa Claus.
A new site called Live Calls With Santa allows families in the U.S. and Canada to talk with jolly ol’ St. Nick despite the need for social distancing. The Zoom calls begin this month and will be available through Christmas Eve. The company just needs a few good Kris Kringles to play the part.

According to the job posting, they’re looking for people who “embody Santa’s appearance, persona, energy, and can of course give a hearty ho-ho-ho.” You must stay in character throughout calls and answer kids’ questions whether they’ve been naughty or nice.
The festive gig pays $25 (Canadian) per hour. To apply, send in a resume and headshot to hr@livecallswithsanta.com. Prospective virtual Santas will be contacted for an interview and audition.
