You can see family-friendly flicks and get a cool view of uptown at Camp North End’s Skyline Drive-In Movie Series. The series begins this week and runs through December 17.

The food and retail destination is transforming one of its parking lots into a 60-car drive-in movie theater on select Thursdays in November and December. Tickets cost $30 per car. But you’re not just seeing a movie, you’re helping the community.

A portion of proceeds from each drive-in event will benefit service organizations in the North End community, including Crisis Assistance Ministries, Salvation Army Center of Hope, Second Harvest Food Bank and Roof Above.

The screen will be located on the northwest corner of the parking lot off Statesville Avenue. An FM radio transmitter will be used so movie-goers can tune in from their car.

Restrooms will be open and you will be required to wear a face mask when you are outside of your car. You can get info here.

Here’s the list of the movies this year:

 Nov. 12 – Forrest Gump (PG-13)

Nov. 19 – Miracle (PG)

Dec. 3 – Frozen (PG)

Dec. 10 – Little Women (2019, PG)

Dec. 17 – Elf (PG)
