This year’s Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center leaves something to be desired, but at least the music will be good. A star-studded lineup is going to help New York City ring in and light up the Christmas season on NBC.
According to Music Row, “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” will include performances by Dolly Parton with Jimmy Fallon, Kelly Clarkson and Brett Eldredge, Goo Goo Dolls, Dan + Shay, Meghan Trainor with Earth, Wind & Fire, Gwen Stefani, Pentatonix, Tori Kelly, and Leslie Odom, Jr. It’s very fitting that Dolly Parton will be there. She has been an amazing force for good during this very difficult year.
The world-famous Radio City Rockettes will also make an appearance during the special. The cast of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, “Ain’t Too Proud To Beg,” will perform as well. NBC’s “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” airs Wednesday, December 2nd at 8:00 PM.
Now about that tree. What happened? Did they drag it all the way to Manhattan? What are they going to do to make this look good? It’s not like they can just put the bare side in the corner and hope no one notices. Quite frankly, the tree looks like we all feel this year. Worn out. Maybe Dolly can sing it back to health.
This is honestly the perfect Rockefeller Center Christmas tree for 2020. Embrace the decay. pic.twitter.com/03bZeOWvBa— brandonstosuy (@brandonstosuy) November 18, 2020
