British Company Develops World’s First Antibacterial Smartphone

These days, nothing can be clean enough. As soon as you’re done disinfecting one thing, you find something else that needs to be wiped down. And what’s one of the germiest things we all carry around every day? Our smartphones. Even without a pandemic, it seems like an antibacterial phone was inevitable.
DailyMail.com reports that Bullitt, a company based in Reading, England, has developed the world’s first antibacterial smartphone using Biomaster technology. The new device, known as the Cat S42, uses charged silver ions embedded in its casing materials during the manufacturing process to stop the growth and spread of pathogens.
