Another holiday tradition has been forced to pivot because of the pandemic. Every December, New Yorkers dress up and flock to Lincoln Center for the New York City Ballet’s production of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker. This year, the experience will be considerably different.

For the first time ever, the New York City Ballet has taken The Nutcracker virtual, due to COVID-19. The performance was filmed last year and also features more than 60 children from the School of American Ballet.

The Nutcracker is streaming on Marquee TV through January 3rd. Tickets are available online and cost $25. CLICK HERE for more information.
