There has been a lot of hand-wringing over “The Office” leaving Netflix for good at the end of this year. Well, it looks like 2021 is already off to good start. The sitcom that has provided so much comfort to so many this year is returning to its NBC roots. Beginning January 1st, you’ll be able to see the gang from Dunder Mifflin on NBCU’s recently launched streaming service, Peacock.

According to Variety, the first two seasons of “The Office” will be available for free with ads on Peacock. Seasons 3-9 will be available to subscribers on Peacock Premium, available for $4.99/month with ads, and Peacock Premium Plus, which is $9.99/month without ads.

But wait, there’s more! Peacock will be introducing new “Superfan Episodes” with never-before-seen footage and deleted scenes in extended cuts of the original series, starting with Season 3, and more coming in March. What!?!

Variety report that the streaming service will also offer the following bonus content:

  • Curated themed episode collections such as the best of the Scranton branch holiday parties and fan-favorite cameo appearances.
  • Clip playlists to chronicle pranks (featuring Jim Halpert and Dwight K. Schrute); best office romances (featuring Jim Halpert and Pam Beesly); and office words of wisdom (feat. former regional manager Michael Scott).
  • Other behind-the-scenes footage including bloopers, featurettes and interviews.
  • The Office Zen, a 24-7 channel of ambient noise devoted to the sights and sounds of the office for anyone working at home. Ha!

Here’s a sample of one of the “Superfan Episodes” coming to Peacock in 2021:
