Remember when America went a little loco over the Popeyes Chicken Sandwich? Other fast food chains certainly remember and they want some of that love, too.

Sonic Drive-In is diving into the “chicken sandwich war.” According to QSR, Sonic’s 350-calorie Chicken Slinger features a juicy 100% all-white meat chicken fillet topped with mayo and pickles on a bakery-soft brioche bun. The Spicy Chicken Slinger adds some zing to the already flavorful sandwich with Sonic’s new Spicy Ranch. Both versions are available through January 31st.

USA Today reports that McDonald’s is rolling out three new chicken sandwiches on February 24th. The Spicy Chicken Sandwich boasts a spicy pepper sauce. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich comes with pickles on a toasted, buttered potato roll. The Deluxe Chicken Sandwich includes shredded lettuce, Roma tomatoes, and mayonnaise.

Shake Shack just introduced their Korean-style Fried Chick’n sandwich, which features a crispy breast with a spicy-sweet gochujang (gochu-jang) fermented chili paste, white kimchi slaw, and toasted sesame seeds. In addition to the sandwich, there’s the six-piece Korean-style Gochujang Chick’n Bites featuring the same fermented chili paste, according to Fox News. Both will available through April 5th.

Of course, KFC is going after the title, too. The chain just announced their addition to the battle of the bird, simply called KFC’s Chicken Sandwich. It features a double-breaded chicken breast filet and pickles on a brioche bun, with either spicy or non-spicy mayo. Fox News says it sounds a lot like Popeye’s popular sandwich.

There’s no end in sight to the “chicken sandwich war.” Chick-fil-A might still wear the crown, but plenty of others are vying to be the “King of Cluck.” Who makes your favorite fast food chicken sandwich?
