Judy Blume is one of my favorite authors and as a kid, I read all of her books. A standout for me, and other young girls, was “Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret.” It’s an amazing story about growing up and it deals with typical issues faced by early adolescent girls. I remember reading the book when I was about 10 years old. If you are into acting, Lionsgate will begin production on the movie version of “Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret” in April and you can be an extra!
The film stars Abby Ryder Fortson from the “Ant-Man” films as Margaret, and Rachel McAdams as Margaret’s mother, Barbara. Tona B. Dahlquist Casting will be holding an open casting call for extras.
