Charlotte Knights 2021 Season Delayed
The Knights released the following statement: “We were informed last night by Major League Baseball that the Triple-A East season will be delayed until May 4. We will have more details soon on how that will impact our 2021 schedule and what that will mean for our fans and partners. We appreciate the community’s support and look forward to welcoming Knights fans back to the ballpark in the near future.”
This will be Charlotte’s first season in the new Triple-A East League. They’ll be playing in the Southeast Division with Durham, Norfolk, Gwinnett, Jacksonville, Memphis, and Nashville.
As we reported, fans will be allowed inside Truist Field this season. The Knights are still working with health officials to determine how many people will be permitted to attend each game. Check the team’s website for updates.
