Police Arrest Burglar Thanks To Cheetos Dust
This sounds like something that might happen in a commercial for Cheetos but not in real life. Police in Oklahoma say they caught a burglar thanks to the “Cheetos dust” in her teeth.
According to True Crime Daily, Sharon Carr was arrested for reportedly breaking into a Tulsa home after officers responded to a 911 call. The homeowner was home at the time of the break-in with her two small children. She identified Carr as the person who came in through an open window, leaving bottled water and an open bag of Cheetos in the home.
The police say Carr was later found with the snack residue in her teeth, giving them confidence she was their suspect. The woman is now facing a charge of first-degree burglary, although she fled without actually stealing anything.
