NBC's new Peacock streaming service is about to pick up a few more subscribers. Fans of Dan Brown's novels The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, and Inferno can look forward to a new series about their favorite symbologist, Robert Langdon.

Peacock is betting on “Dan Brown’s Langdon” to be a hit, and it should be. The films based on the character, played by Tom Hanks, all did well at the box office. Those movies were directed by Ron Howard and UPI reports that he'll be executive producing the series along with original producer Brian Grazer.

The series will be based on Dan Brown’s 2009 novel The Lost Symbol, the riveting sequel to The DaVinci Code. Ashley Zukerman (below) will star as Robert Langdon. Valorie Curry, Sumalee Montano, Rick Gonzalez, Eddie Izzard, and Beau Knapp are also in the cast. No word yet on when “Dan Brown’s Langdon” will premiere on Peacock, but I'm ready to binge every episode.
