The Pioneer Woman’s Husband Breaks His Neck Trying To Help Put Out A Fire On The Family Farm

It was the 11th fire on the family farm since November. The Pioneer Woman’s husband Ladd broke his neck on the property after he and their nephew crashed trying to get to the fire to help put it out.
Ree Drummond’s husband and nephew Caleb were involved in the collision last week as they were responding to a fire that was getting a little too close for comfort near the family farm.
Ladd reportedly declined to be treated at the scene. Those there say he was more concerned with getting Caleb help and since I know cowboys as I do, I am sure he thought it was something he could take care of himself. Nope, his neck is reportedly broken in two places. Caleb suffered several broken ribs and reportedly has a concussion. Both men will recover. To see more on the story, click here.
