Working from home is common now and has been for the last year or so. All of us know folks that are working from home according to a new report, North Carolina is one of the best states if you’re working from home.

A new WalletHub report reveals the Best States For Working From Home. They looked at all 50 states plus the District of Columbia, judging them on 12 key factors including cyber security, work environment, living environment, internet costs and more.

Delaware was the top state, with Alaska coming in at the bottom of the list. North Carolina is number two on the list, being on of the easiest states to work from home. Georgia came in just below North Carolina at number three.

I have lots of friends working from home and some of them aren’t planning to go back into the office any time soon. Many corporations may continue to let employees work from home once the pandemic is over. A have a bunch of friends that are teachers, so they’re working from home most of the time right now.

Talking to friends that have been working from home, they say it’s easier because they don’t have to deal with a traffic filled commute to and from work and they also like the fact that they can dress more casually while working from home. One of my friends works in her jammies half the time!

My friends with younger kids enjoy working from home because they can be there while their child is learning via Zoom, and they are also there when their child comes home from school. Even though they are technically working, they feel like they are seeing their child more.
