Having done a few home remodeling projects, I can tell you that you'll never know what you'll find in an older home. We recently found a Schlitz beer can from the 1950's behind the wall of one of our bathrooms. It had probably been left there by one of the people who built the house.

A couple in the UK found something even more interesting when they pulled up their wall-to-wall carpeting. The Scottish Sun reports that the homeowners' renovation uncovered a massive monopoly board painted on the subfloor. It looks exactly like a real board for the iconic game.

The couple’s son-in-law shared the discovery on Reddit and got several responses explaining that painting board games, especially Monopoly, was common back in the day. The family says they may leave the game board intact and seal it. Now they just have to find a giant thimble.

You can see the hand-painted Monopoly floor HERE. It may even inspire you to paint your favorite board game on the floor of one of your rooms.
