CLT Taco Week Is Going On Now And You Can Snag Serious Deals

What's better than "Taco Tuesday"? How about tacos all week long at a discount! Now through April 25 you can snag deals on tacos all around Charlotte. Great opportunity to support local restaurants and eat some tasty food.

Before I realized that "CLT Taco Week" was happening, I saw a list on MSN of the best tacos in every state. Oddly enough, the best in the state of North Carolina is here in Charlotte. RuRu's Tacos + Tequila has the best. Their "Long Duck Dong" tacos are a favorite! It's Korean-style sweet and spicy steak, pickled cabbage, sesame seeds and cilantro in a warm flour tortilla. Yum!

Over 20 restaurants in the Charlotte area are offering $3 specialty tacos this week. There's even a Facebook page just for the week's festivities. Just looking at the pictures is making me hungry.

A new Mexican restaurant recently opened near my house and I ate there last week. I didn't have tacos but I had their "Naked Burrito" and it was yummy. Excellent guacamole too. Gonna go back soon to try the margaritas!
