It's a comfort food mash-up unlike any other and you may be able to try it this summer. Macaroni and cheese and lasagna are both amazing as individual foods and now they've been made into one perfect food. Get ready for LasagnaMac, lasagna with a mac and cheese center.
Stouffer's is releasing the one-of-a-kind mashup this summer. It's a classic lasagna, layers of meat, tomato sauce, and noodles with the middle part cheddar mac and cheese. This is a dish that will require a nap after eating it.
Growing up we always had Stouffer's French Bread Pizza's in the freezer. I loved them as a kid! I bought some last year when I saw them in the freezer section of the grocery store....made me feel nostalgic. They were still good but I don't remember them tearing up the roof of my mouth as a kid. They jacked my mouth all up. LOL!
It makes sense though. I mean, lasagna and mac and cheese are both pasta dishes with different cheeses added. And both are favorites of many households so this should be a winning combination.
We’ll get a chance to try the dish this summer. Stouffer’s will offer fans a chance to snag some with a giveaway. There are no details just yet on how you can enter and win but Stouffer’s says to look for updates at the company’s official Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram pages.
