Charlotte Hotel Earns Spot On Tripadvisor ‘Best Of The Best’ List
Tripadvisor has released their annual Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Awards for Hotels. The results are based on the quality and quantity of the millions of reviews, opinions, and ratings collected on the travel site in 2020. This year’s top 10 includes a hotel in uptown Charlotte.
At #7 on the list, The Ivey’s Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel at 127 North Tryon Street, convenient to the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, Discovery Place Science, and Sprit Square. From the rooms to the restaurant, everything is truly a five-star experience. Tripadvisor users rave: “Our room was spectacular! They thought of everything! It was comfy, yet hip and luxurious.” The hotel’s name comes from the fact that it occupies the old Ivey’s department store.

Tripadvisor also added four new categories this year, including the Hottest New Hotels (properties that opened in July 2019 or later), Top Rooftop Hotels, Safari Stays, and Picture-Perfect Hotels (properties with gorgeous photos on Tripadvisor).
