The Office! A Murder Mystery Parody Is In Charlotte
I’m a huge fan of “The Office” and was totally bummed when it disappeared from Netflix. It’s one of the shows I can watch over and over again. Murder mystery theater has never appealed to me, but I’ll admit that this sounds cool!
The Office! A Murder Mystery Parody: Who Is The Scranton Strangler is an all-new interactive and immersive parody walking tour. I like the fact that it’s a walking tour and the audience gets to truly play a role in solving the mystery.
Audience members team up with characters from the show, as they reveal clues to lead them on a quest to solve the mystery. There are lots of turns, and the detective audience must figure out lies from the truth to solve the case. No two performances are ever the same as the actors improvise with every interaction.
The show begins at Spirit Square and lasts approximately 70 minutes. This is great for a group of friends that all love the show or even a group of co-workers. If you’re familiar with the show then you know about the “Scranton Strangler”. Funny episode!
If you’re interested in checking the show out, it runs through June 6. More details and ticket info here.
