General Mills is marking 100 years of "The Breakfast of Champions" with a run of special edition boxes called the Century Box Series. According to Yahoo, each box of Wheaties cereal in this line will feature an iconic sports figure from the last 100 years.
First up is the late boxing legend Muhammad Ali. Wheaties says they've decided to feature Ali on the first box in the series because of his core principles of confidence, conviction, dedication, giving, spirituality and respect. The Muhammad Ali boxes are in stores this week.
If I had to guess which other athletes will be included in the Century Box Series, I'd say Michael Jordan (who appeared on a record 18 Wheaties boxes), Jackie Robinson, Serena Williams, Wayne Gretzky, Mary Lou Retton, and Joe Montana. But what about Bruce Jenner? The former Olympic gold medal decathlete now known as Caitlyn Jenner was one of the biggest Wheaties icons of the last 100 years.
