Web Designer Names Son In Honor Of His Profession
My father has an unique hobby. He collects names. The more out of the ordinary, the better. When he comes across an unusual name, he adds it to the list. I think I just found a gold mine for him.
Mac Pascual, a web designer in the Philippines, just became a father. Congratulations, Mac! And he clearly loves his chosen profession because he named his baby boy…wait for it…HTML. I’m not kidding. Welcome to the world, Hypertext Mark-up Language Rayo Pascual. I suppose if the kid doesn’t like it, he could go by Mark. Or Hype?
The story gets even better. According to the Daily Mail, creative baby naming is a bit of a pastime in the Pascual family. Mac is actually short for Macaroni 85. He has a sister named Spaghetti 88. Her two children are called Cheese Pimiento and Parmesan Cheese, but they go by Chippy and Peewee, respectively.
Another one of Mac’s sisters, the aunt who posted HTML’s birth announcement on Facebook, is named Sincerely Yours Pascual. Say what you will about these names, but no one in the Pascual family ever had to deal with being confused for anyone else in school.
