This has been in the rumor mill for years, but it looks like it's really going to happen. Kelsey Grammer is finally opening up about the "Frasier" revival that will be coming to Paramount Plus.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Grammer says he’s reached out to the other actors involved. David Hyde Pierce (Niles), Jane Leeves (Daphne), and Peri Gilpin (Roz) are all on board. Since John Mahoney, who played Frasier’s father, Martin Crane, died in 2018, the show will address that in the first episode.

Meanwhile, the Emmy winner shared a few other details. “Frasier's gonna change cities again,” he noted. “He thinks he's gonna go off and do one thing, and sure enough, his life takes him in another direction, and he ends up rich beyond his dreams.”

In which city will we find the good doctor this time? The smart money is on Chicago because that's where Frasier appeared to be heading when the last series ended. So far, no premiere date has been announced.

Phil Harris is 50% of "Phil & Mel in the Afternoon" on K104.7. He has been with the station since 2013 and on the air in Charlotte since 2000. Before coming to the Queen City, Phil worked for radio stations in Pittsburgh, Austin, and Seattle. In addition to the weekly "Throwback Threesome" music video feature, Phil writes about things that matter to Charlotte sports fans and pet owners. He happens to be both.
