World’s Deepest Swimming Pool Is Now Open In Dubai
When my sister lived in Dubai, she would tell me about all of the incredible attractions they have there. They have the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest tower. Ski Dubai is one of the world’s top indoor skiing venues. And the new Ain Dubai is set to be the highest Ferris wheel in the world. Dubai doesn’t do anything small.
The United Arab Emirate city’s next jaw-dropping tourist attraction is also a record setter. Maxim reports the world’s deepest swimming pool has officially opened in Dubai. But this is no ordinary pool. Deep Dive Dubai is designed for scuba diving.
The massive Deep Dive Dubai pool is 180-feet deep and holds 14 million liters of water, which is equal to six Olympic-sized pools. Those who dive its depths will find an underwater city featuring an “abandoned streetscape with an apartment, garage, arcade, and a functioning foosball table.” It looks like you’re swimming a video game.
Deep Dive Dubai also offers scuba instruction, a restaurant, meeting facilities, and a media production center. You can see some amazing photos of HERE.
