It never fails. During and after every beach vacation, my wife and I have the same conversation about moving to the beach permanently. One day we just might do it, if no other reason than we stop only talking about it. Sometimes you have to actually chase your dream.

There's still the question of which beach town we would want to call home. Price would definitely be a factor. Buying a house in a beach town isn’t necessarily cheap, but USA Today reports that there are some reasonable options out there. Realtor.com has just come out with their list of the most affordable beach towns.

The website looked at median prices of home listings from May 2020 through April 2021 in more than 1,300 seaside communities. Topping the list is Atlantic City, New Jersey, where the median home listing price is $145,050. Bonus if you also enjoy casino gambling. A couple of towns in the Carolinas, including Myrtle Beach (top), are also in the top ten.
