Mom At Soccer Match Proves That Parenting Is A Sport
Any parent knows that toddlers can take off running at a moment’s notice. That’s exactly what happened at a recent Major League Soccer match in Ohio.
A toddler sprinted onto the field during a match between FC Cincinnati and Orlando City SC. I don’t know if the kid thought he could get some playing time or if he was simply testing the boundaries of his mother’s patience. In either case, it didn’t work out for him because his mom is pretty fast, too.
With the speed of an elite sweeper, mom tackled her young son, scooped him and her sunglasses up, then made it back to her seat without disrupting the play on the pitch. You can see some video below. MLS may want to look into launching a new league for parents.
