Father’s Hilarious Trap Catches Son Sneaking Back Into The House
Ahhhhhh…the sneak out. Most of us have done it, myself included. Once my cousin and I snuck out of her window and while sneaking back in, she got actually got stuck in the window. I think of that incident now and it’s too funny! Of course, at the time we were scared we’d wake up my uncle.
A crafty dad busted his son and his friends sneaking into the house through a window and the video has gone viral on TikTok. Over 13 million folks have viewed it and for good reason…it’s hilarious!
Father @rhythmlessman busted his kid by using technology in the home to his advantage. Not only does the dad post the video of busting his son, he also posted a video of how he did it. And I love that he uses the Mission Impossible theme song. HA! This dad uses Alexa and a Ring camera to catch his son Jesse and his friends.
Although the video was widely met with positivity, some found Jesse’s cursing not cool, which was swiftly addressed in a comment by his father. “This is our relationship. We all curse in our family. He’s not cursing at me, he’s giving props for busting him creatively,” he explained to Newsweek.
While other comments ranged all the way from claiming the the technique wasn’t strict enough while busting him, to those claiming that he was being too strict by not allowing him to sneak in.
Many however pointed out that the trap was light-hearted, and not designed to be a harsh punishment. “I love the fact that you showed him and his friends that it’s easier to have open communication and trust. Even if it was sneaky,” wrote one user. I’m not sure if Jesse was grounded, however I’m sure he won’t try this again.
