Total flashback! I felt so old when I saw this story. Monster Cereals were one of my favorites as a kid. It's been years since I've had a bowl but the love I have for Count Chocula, Franken Berry, and Boo Berry is still there. Growing up the Monster Cereals were my favorite! I can't believe they're turning 50 years old!

A lot of folks childhoods had their days start off in some spooky manner thanks to the lineup of Monster Cereals. Nothing like an early morning sugar rush! To celebrate this big birthday, they've gathered the whole gang for one epic cereal: Monster Mash! I don't remember Frute Brute or Yummy Mummy.

The Monster Mash cereal is a limited-edition version of the nostalgic frosted cereal featuring pieces from the five iconic Monster Cereals. This is going to be a must for me!  I'm trying to reduce the amount of sugar in my diet since I'm starting radiation soon but this is a must have.

The cereal has been spotted in some stores and it should be readily available by the fall.  I know that Walmart usually has Count Chocula, Franken Berry, and Boo Berry around Halloween. Guessing they'll have this new mix.  It looks like you can find it online too.

And not only is there a remake of the tune, General Mills released a "behind the music" mockumentary. It gives the history of "The Monster Mash" song called Remaking of the Mash: A Monster Miracle. It is AWESOME!  I love this! I'll admit I've watched it more than once today!
