Best Jobs That Don’t Require A Four-Year College Degree
College isn’t for everyone. We’ve talked about this on the show before. It’s not a question of intelligence. For some people, college just isn’t a good fit and, in many cases, four more years of academics might not make sense. If someone is drawn to a career path which offers lucrative earnings and job satisfaction, and that doesn’t require a four-year degree, then there’s no point in paying all of that tuition and spending all of that time in a classroom.
Of course, some of these jobs are better than others. SkillPointe has just come out with their first-ever Job Score Report, revealing the best jobs that don’t require a four-year college degree. According to Business Insider, the career site based their findings by analyzing current salaries, available job openings, future growth, and interest among job seekers.

It should come as no surprise that technology careers shine in this report. The top spot went to Software Developer, which earns the highest salary of any job on the list, followed by Systems Analyst. Truck Driver (#5) has the most available jobs and Information Security Analyst (#20) is the job that’s best for future growth. Skilled construction trades also rank high on the list:
