‘SnyderBier’ Might Be The Ultimate Oktoberfest Brew
Beer and pretzels go together like…beer and pretzels! You don’t need to compare them to anything else. It’s a classic combination. So why hasn’t anyone ever actually combined the two into one beverage? Well, now someone has.
In celebration of Oktoberfest, Charlotte-based Snyder’s of Hanover and Captain Lawrence Brewing Company in Elmsford, New York have joined forces to create a new beer collection made with slow-baked German style-pretzels from Snyder’s and craft beer from Captain Lawrence. According to Business Insider, there are two flavors of new SnyderBier:
- Pretzel Marzen – a Marzen style lager combining the flavor of Snyder’s of Hanover Mini pretzels with a classic malt taste of the brew.
- Pretzel Frucht – a gose style ale with passion fruit, guava and Snyder’s of Hanover pretzels.
