I know that squirrels are busy little creatures but I had NO clue they could do this. This story is nuts! :)

A man in North Dakota recently had an encounter with a very determined squirrel. Fargo resident Bill Fischer recently opened the hood of his truck and got quite the sight. His engine compartment was overflowing with black walnuts that had been stored there by a red squirrel.

Fisher has a black walnut tree in his back yard and the red squirrel set up his home there. His truck was only sitting for a few days and the squirrel was very busy.

The truck's been cleaned repeatedly and Fisher estimates that 42 gallons of black walnuts have been removed from his truck. 42 GALLONS! I'm guessing the lil squirrel was seriously stocking up nuts for the winter. You can't be mad at him....it does get cold in winter.

The gallons of black walnuts are currently sitting in buckets he’s using to store them himself. However, he says he hasn’t been able to retrieve all of them, as he can hear some nuts rolling around inside the body of the Avalanche when he drives it.

I gotta admit, I feel bad for the little squirrel! I mean, he was hard core busy getting all his nuts together for the winter. You know he's upset! And these are pretty big walnuts!

The video is wild! Hopefully you won't have overly active squirrels around your house this fall/winter.
