A new study by Club Med has revealed the top airport layovers around the world to tick off your bucket list and which are the best to spend your flight layover time in. The study found Charlotte Douglas International Airport ranked number 30th on the bucket list worth airports for a layover. Club Med analyzed over 100 airports on the following criteria, to assess where in the world has the best layover for your next dream vacation:

😃 Customer Satisfaction of the available wifi and lounges
🏨 Number of hotels
👍🏻 Staff friendliness
Each of these data values was given a respective score, which was then added up to reveal a final index score out of a total of 100 for each airport. Charlotte Douglas Airport has been ranked as the 30th best airport for a long layover, in the world. Passengers can browse the 49 shops to pick up travel essentials or have a bite to eat in one of the 70 restaurants to choose from. With a total index score of 52.3 out of 100, Charlotte Douglas Airport is one of the best airports to spend a long layover in!
Singapore Airport, Changi is the best place in the world for a layover. The unique airport scores a total score of 100 out of 100 in the airport index! Your holiday experience starts as soon as you step foot in the airport, as it is home to the world’s largest indoor waterfall. Staff at the airport have been scored 5 out of 5 for their friendliness, making the holiday experience relaxing and memorable.
Changi offers the highest number of sleeping facilities for busy travelers to rest their heads. Whilst in the airport, passengers have the opportunity to browse the 250 shops the airport offers, as well as the 153 restaurants to choose from. If the endless offering of amenities isn’t enough, the beautiful city of Singapore is just 20KM away for visitors to discover.
This layover is the number one airport to add to your bucket list! Make this airport a top spot on your bucket list so you can experience staying at the best airport in the world. Following behind Changi airport was Incheon, South Korea with 97.45 points in second place, and Hong Kong airport with 86.60 points out of 100. Maybe one day ill get to these airports to experience them!
