“No Time To Die” is the 25th James Bond Film and will be Daniel Craig’s last turn as 007. What’s it about?
Bond has left active service and is trying to enjoy a quiet life in Jamaica when his old CIA friend Felix Leiter asks for help in rescuing a kidnapped scientist. That puts them on the trail of a new villain armed with the ability to target people by their DNA. Billie Eilish did the theme song for it. Rami Malek is the bad guy and the returning cast includes Jeffrey Wright as Leiter, Ralph Fiennes as M, Ben Whishaw as Q, Naomie Harris as Ms. Moneypenny, and Christoph Waltz as “Spectre” villain Blofeld.
As for Bond girls . . . Léa Seydoux returns as Bond’s love interest from “Spectre”, Madeleine Swann . . . Ana de Armas plays a rookie MI6 agent helping Bond . . . and Lashana Lynch joins the cast as a new 007 agent who replaced him. Synopsis above from “The Complete Sheet/Wise Brothers Media 10/08/21
Make sure you hit the restroom and the snack bar first, because this is the longest Bond movie ever. It runs a total of 2 hours and 43 minutes. Here’s the trailer.
As for my favorite Bond, no one can compare to Sean Connery for me, but it’s Pierce Brosnan in 2nd place and Daniel Craig is a close 3rd. I loved the period of the Roger Moore movies, but he played the character a bit more cheesey while Connery and Craig were more serious with the role. I never really got into Timothy Dalton and although George Lazeby was great in his lone performance, he was not used again. See below for some of my favorite films featuring my favorite’s as James Bond.
