It’s time to grease your chain and squeeze into some spandex. Charlotte’s annual Biketoberfest is this Sunday, October 24th. This is a fun way to explore the city’s evolving cycling infrastructure.

According to the Charlotte Observer, Biketoberfest is more than a bike ride. It’s also a scavenger hunt that will take you all over the city. This year’s route covers Center City, South End, NoDa, Optimist Park, Midtown, and Villa Heights. Along the way, you can get your Biketoberfest passport stamped and then trade it in for raffle tickets at Triple C Brewing in South End. That’s where the after-party takes place.

The Biketoberfest adventure also begins at Triple C Brewing (2832 Griffith Street, Charlotte 28203). The event runs from 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM on Sunday, October 24th. Registration is $35. Kids under 18 are free if accompanied by a registered adult. Proceeds benefit Sustain Charlotte, the organization that’s making biking better in the Queen City. To register for the ride, CLICK HERE.
