Charlotte Named One Of America’s Clumsiest Cities
You’d think a place nicknamed the “Queen City” would be full of graceful people. Not so, according to tech care company Asurion, which has identified the clumsiest cities in the U.S.
According to Yahoo! Finance, Asurion looked at their data on things like dropped devices, cracked screens, and more to determine which cities have the most slips and falls. They also judged cities based on the number of personal injury lawyers and orthopedic surgeons per capita.
It went even deeper than that. The company looked at online searches for phrases like “I think I sprained my ankle” and “how do I get water out of my phone?” Charlotte stumbles in at #6 on the list. Cincinnati, which is also known as the “Queen City,” is just two spots below us. Apparently, royalty and grace don’t necessarily go hand in hand.
At least we’re not New Orleans, which takes the crown as America’s clumsiest city. In fact, eight of the top ten are in the South. Is it the humidity? You can see the list below:
