Apparently some folks had a hard time finding Halloween candy. I'm not one of those people. I have lots leftover this morning. And if you do as well, you can re-purpose the candy and make festive desserts.
Huffington Post has a few tasty looking leftover Halloween candy dessert recipes. If you'd rather whip something fun up instead of just eat the candy, you should check out the recipes.
I've never been a fudge fan, but the recipe for "Easy Peanut Butter Cup Fudge with Salted Bourbon Sugar" looks amazing! Rarely do people have leftover Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, but if you do, or if your child isn't a fan, this is an excellent way to use them.
Cookies are always a go-to when you have leftover candy. Obviously, you can put M&M's into any type of cookie. The "Triple Peanut Butter Cookie Pie" recipe looks yummy. It's basically a big cookie with peanut butter cups, M&M's, and any other candy you wanna throw in there.
My personal favorite in this list of recipes is the "Kit Kat Cake". It calls for Kit Kat's and M&M's, but you could use any candy for the top of the cake. This thing looks like trouble! Just looking at the pic makes me hungry!
Take a look at all the recipes and grab some ideas. You can always substitute the candy you have leftover in some of these recipes. Great way to use leftover candy.
