Video Goes Viral Of 82 Year-Old Grandma Getting First Tattoo
If you’ve seen me, then you know I have a number of tattoos. I can verify that they are somewhat addicting. If you’ve always thought about getting a tattoo but thought you were too old, this story will prove you wrong.
A video on TikTok has gone viral of an 82 year-old grandma getting her first tattoo. Brandy O’Reilly found out that her grandmother, Judy Dede, announced plans to get her first tattoo. O’Reilly was stunned! She told Fox News that she was totally surprised when she heard the news.
Dede’s inspiration for the tattoo was from an article she read about living life to the fullest. So she decided to do just that! The design she chose features a one-of-a-kind treble clef, fish hook, ribbon and heart on her right forearm. Some family members also got new tattoos with Dede. So cool!
When O’Reilly filmed the tattoo video of her grandmother with the hashtag “tat granny” she had no idea that it would go viral. So far, close to 4 million have seen it.
I love this! It’s funny because my mom, who is 78 years-old, isn’t a fan of my tattoos. BUT, she says she wants one on her neck. WTH?! She’s only mentioned it once but I was stunned. We’ll see if she’ll ever go through with it.
