Where To Have Thanksgiving In Charlotte: Dine In And Take Out
Although many of us enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving, sometimes it’s fun to do something different. If you’re looking to avoid hours in the kitchen or if you’d like to reduce the stress in your life by picking up an already made Thanksgiving meal, charlottesgotalot.com is here to help.
There are many local spots that offer full Thanksgiving meals to-go and/or yummy appetizers to take home to your guests. A friend of mine often posts on Facebook about the charcuterie boards from Babe & Butcher. They offer many different charcuterie boards, crudité, fruit, or dessert boards. Easy way to give your family or guests something to nosh on. I’ve never had anything from their store but the food looks amazing!
Mert’s Heart & Soul is a place I’ve heard so much about, but I’ve yet to try it. They soul food restaurant is offering fried whole turkeys with gravy for $67, which is a good deal. You can also buy four-ounce sides, including green beans, sweet potato casserole, and collard greens, for $3 each. Hurry to place your order at mertscharlotte.com by November 19 for pickup November 22-25. You can snag just the turkey, which will reduce your time in the kitchen, or make your own turkey and snag sides. I like it!
If you’re just looking for yummy desserts, check out Suarez Bakery. Phil bought me Hanukkah cookies from the bakery two years ago and they were the best cookies I’ve ever had! They make all kinds of cakes, cupcakes, doughnuts, and cookies but you can also get pies for Thanksgiving. They have many flavors available, including Thanksgiving favs like pumpkin pie and pecan pie.Everything they make looks so good! I follow them on https://www.instagram.com/suarezbakery/Instagram and every time they post something, I want to rush right over and buy it!
