Who Makes The Best Fast Food Chicken Nuggets?
Now that the chicken sandwich craze appears to have settled down a bit, chicken nuggets are getting some of the fast food limelight again. In an attempt to recreate their own chicken sandwich magic, Popeyes introduced their chicken nuggets for the first time back in July. However, there are other fast food chains that have been playing the nugget game a lot longer.
Mashed has ranked fast food chicken nuggets from worst to best, but their list doesn’t include Popeyes. I have to think that Popeyes’ nuggets have to rank ahead of the Chicken Rings from White Castle. Who thought that would be a good idea?
Also not on the list is the latest nugget offering from Burger King: Dill Pickle Chicken Nuggets. According to popculture, those are breaded chicken nuggets with a slice of dill pickle inside. That actually sounds appealing. It’s basically a mini-chicken sandwich without the bun. Alas, the Dill Pickle Chicken Nuggets are only available in Canada.
Meanwhile, back in the U.S. of A., the top chicken nugget choice from Mashed might come as a surprise since it’s not McDonald’s, which made chicken nuggets mainstream in the ’80s. You can see the list below. Is there a fast food chicken nugget you would add to the ranking?
