Mom Pays For Grinch Visit And Gets More Than She Bargained For
All of us have seen pictures on social media of parents who paid The Grinch to stop by and say hello to their kids. Many of the pictures are of terrified kids running from the green character, which is kinda funny! A mom in the U.K. paid The Grinch to stop by her house and got way more than was expecting.
According to Newsweek, Laura Magill paid $112 for a visit from The Grinch for some holiday fun. Unfortunately, she ended up paying for a total ruckus! The ad that Magill responded to stated that The Grinch would “come in, mess with the kids’ beds, have a pillow fight, put toilet paper on the Christmas tree, and take pictures with the kids.
The Grinch didn’t stick to the plan. Magill says that instead, The Grinch threw all the party food and expensive cupcakes, broke Christmas tree decorations, poured dish soap all over the kitchen floor and smashed eggs. He also poured a full bottle of juice all over the floor and all over Magill’s son. We all know how sticky juice is and I grinch thinking of that clean-up!
The mom posted about the experience on Twitter saying, “Highly highly DO NOT recommend” The Grinch visit service. He came and stole Christmas.” She also said that she’s “Never been so disgusted in my life!!!” But Twitter users didn’t share her pain, instead they saw the humor in the situation and the pictures of the event have gone viral.
Most folks on Twitter found the experience entertaining and hilarious. In the pictures, it looks like her kids had a good time. That said, if I had to clean up that mess, I’d probably be mad too! She got her money’s worth for sure!
